Tragic Tree Fall in Kuala Lumpur: One Fatality, Multiple Vehicles Damaged, and Monorail Service Disrupted.

A tree fell and hit 17 vehicles and the Monorail track due to heavy rain and strong wind in an incident on Jalan Sultan Ismail, 8/05/2024.

In the incident at about 2 pm, a local man died while another was injured.

Meanwhile, Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd (Rapid Rail) in a statement today informed that there is no service between KL Sentral Station and Medan Tuanku Station, and that it has activated train services between Titiwangsa and Medan Tuanku (Platform 1) as well as intermediate buses to and from KL Sentral to Medan Tuanku.
